I'm Moving

I decided a few weeks ago, during the week of our garage sale, that I could no longer devote my time to keeping up two blogs.

I have to give myself credit for keeping them as long as I did, but I thought it was time that I bring the whole family together, and create one blog you can all read and enjoy!

Wide Open Spaces

No this is not something from the Dixie Chicks.....it's something we gave Saffron when she began to crawl, and now we have done the same thing for Sebastian. We took our coffee table out of the living room, and let the kids have a big wide open space to crawl, run, and play.....won't be long and we will have a fast crawler on our hands. He knows what to do, he just has to coordinate it all. He picked up on going from a crawling to sitting position, and from sitting to crawling....won't be long and he'll be off.....till then......here he is!

"Gosh mom, just what are you and dad going to do, when I do get away from you....guess you will just have to wait and find out!!!"

When You Leave a Kid In Charge.....

I'm sure it's all my fault, I know it is....but, I had no idea Sebastian would reach out and try and feed himself, till Saffron yelled out that Sebastian was making messes. I did not even get a chance to grab a bib......but I did manage to grab the camera.....always something cute to capture at the Blume household....!

But, it made for a great blog post!!

Although I have only known you a short time dad, you have touched my life in a very special way. I can't wait to grow up and do things with you.......I get bigger and stronger every day, and before you know it, I'll be you big/little guy! I love you so much daddy, I hope you enjoy the day.....

5months

Hard to believe my little guy is 5 months already, and I thought I had a little more time to prepare for this post and take some good pictures with his little dump truck, but it's been a very busy few weeks esp. with both the kids being sick. I promise to do a better post next month........

Sebastian is doing very well on his solid foods, and have added a few more flavors to his list of favorites including two fruits he loves, Pears and apricots! He loves to eat, and does well with it, eating sometimes two bowls of cereal and a large stage 2 container of veggies/and or fruit! I love the sounds he makes as he eagerly awaits the next bite! I hope by next post I can get at least one video of him eating!

Sebastian is sitting up pretty well! He gets tired easily, and falls to the side, but I imagine by the end of month 5 going into 6 months he'll be better at it!

He's well on his way to trying to crawl. He can by using his rump, make his way across the blanket, and or do a complete 360 circle! A cute site to see!

He's outgrown many of the things he has, I think due to the cloth diapers he's into 9-12month clothes.....hard to believe, but one wash it fits next wash it does not.....and no I'm not shrinking his clothes! He is mind you over 15lbs! I notice this when I go to pick him up.....quite the sack of potatoes.....

He still is not sleeping through the night, which I hope comes soon....he just needs those extra snacks before his breakfast at 6am, ugh!

I think that's all I can think of....I'm sure I will come up with more.....but here's my 5month old!

Good Mood Food

Okay.....so after about one month on being on solid foods, Sebastian has come up with his likes and dislikes on food.

His Likes: Carrots, Green Beans, Peas, Sweet Potatoes, and Cereal
His Dislikes: Bananas, Squash, and Applesauce

I know his little taste palliate will change, and he will have more to choose from once he hits stage two on the Gerber foods. Then comes a whole new trial and error, and of course funny faces on his Little Man vrs Food quest!!!

Food Etiquette 101

There comes a time in every little mans life, when he must take that first step towards feeding himself. I guess I just did not think it would happen so soon. I took some pictures of Sebastian trying to feed himself, it was very cute to see.
