and sure enough, Sebastian did very well in the Boppy seat....

Two Months.....

Okay, well I am a few days late....too many things going on right now,
and I think to myself, what have I gotten myself into trying to keep up with two blogs...(ugh)....I thought it would be nice for each child to have their own blog, but now a days I find myself spending more time with the kids and less time taking pictures. I thought I would have tons of blogging ideas, but my mommy brain is blank, overwhelmed at the moment....hope things get more productive, but time will tell.........

So hard to believe my little guy is 2 months old....just thinking back to January at how pregnant I was, and how far he has come today....

He's gaining weight and length quite well,
He's smiling more at his mom and dad,
He's adored by all who comes in contact with him,
and his sister could not be more proud of having him as a little brother...

My little man sure has changed since the day he was born,
day by day,
week by week,
and month by month,
I can't wait to see what next month will bring....

Waiting, waiting, waiting......

Today is the day, I was told to stay home, today's the day I have to wait....

waiting, waiting, and waiting......
when will he show up,
when will he come,
when will the FedEx guy be HERE?????????

Today our Cubs tickets arrive for the 2011 season...
So here we sit, ready and waiting for the season to start....
In the meantime, going to hit a few home runs!

(Sigh) "Mom, how much longer does a man have to wait for this to come in the mail.....I'm not getting any younger here!"

"Put-em up, put-em up....I'd beat up anyone who tries to get into my way...these are MY Cubs tickets.....stay away!"

"No fools....Opening day is April 1st!"

"Any objections to me throwing out the ceremonial first pitch?"

"What a rain delay?????????? NOooooooooooo"

"Well, I guess as long as they come by opening day, I will be okay....till then I plan to take a nap!"

Little G Big G

Little Guy, Big Guy....
or in this case
GDiapers....

Long before Sebastian was born, I decided I wanted to use cloth diapers with him, knowing I was going to be home with him full time. I had looked at several different types of cloth, but I fell in love with the GDiaper style. My dear mother bought us a nice starter set, including 4 small Gpants and 2 medium Gpants. The small Gpants are 8-14lbs, and the medium Gpants 13-28lbs. I started using these right after his cord fell off.....I was in love with them, and enjoyed using them, and saving on disposables, even though I use them on him at night, at least till I mastered a quick diaper change in the dark. Needless to say, my little man has out grown the small size. Mind you they are not cheep in anyways, but far less than putting $60 into the diaper pail each month (with both kids in disposables).....So, I ordered the next size of Gdiapers last night. I saved on the order, with free shipping, 10%savings on the diapers, and I was able to get a free diaper bag!.....I do hope he can stay in this size longer than he did the small. He's a growing boy....and I'm finding that even the clothes I put on him, I'm going through....I put a 6month onesie on him today, along with 6month pants....now I know it's not the cute big diaper butt making me use the larger clothes, it's definitely him that's bigger...I already have a stack of clothes he never even got to wear that's set aside for our garage sale this Spring/Summer. I know kids grow fast, but maybe I am noticing it more with Sebastian because he will be my last baby....and it seems as each day goes by, he becomes less of a baby and more like my Big/Little Boy!
