This post may not interest many people, but it's a great milestone in this pregnancy, and I wanted to have it documented for our baby's reading purposes!
I have hit a great milestone in my pregnancy! This morning I passed the champagne cork! I have been looking for this ever since the contractions have started. I know labor could be days away, but it still makes me smile that soon I will be holding a baby in my arms! I was snuggling with Saffron this morning and referred to her as my big girl, but she will always be my baby! And as she needs me less each day, I realize how independent she is becoming. She has been practicing her big sister skills with the baby doll her Aunt Summer and Uncle Reid gave her, so I know when baby does come she will have an idea on what a new baby will need!
The contractions these past few days have been very unbearable. It was very difficult for me yesterday even to go to the bathroom. They have not been consistent, but I know the ones I am having are making progress. My next OB apt will be Friday the 7th, unless baby comes before then. I'm excited on the day to come, but know with Saffron being 10days late, anything it possible on the birth of this little one! Just going to keep going about my daily routine till the day does come. The bags are packed and in the car, car seat and bunting are in the car......not sure what else I can do to prepare.....I think I have done all that I can do.....now I just have to wait!
