I know I am over a week late, but I have been busy with this bundle of joy...
Sebastian Byron Blume came into this world with a BANG! Just the same way that our daughter Saffron did, a very quick, med free birth, that lasted about two hours after my water broke. My water broke at home at 512am and we got to the hospital at 615am, with me being 3-4cm dilated, I was so wanting an epidural this time, not wanting to be uncomfortable with the labor, when they checked a few minutes later, I was 5cm dilated, then within minutes I went from a 5cm to a full 10cm, and was told to push with the next contraction....and at 710am, we announced the arrival of our son. Sebastian was 7lbs 7oz and 19inches long. I could not believe another quick labor, just like my first.....but you never know what will happen. I have been spending my days and nights nursing this little one...and at his last Dr. apt on Monday, he was at 7lb 2oz, and 20inches long (he was 7lb when he left the hospital). Saffron and daddy are in awe, as am I, on this little boy we have....Saffron enjoys so much being the big sister! She loves to hold him, give him kisses, and being a very big help to me. I can't wait to see what the next few months will bring......stay tuned to the new adventures of
Sebastian B.B.!
